John started his professional career at the age of 10 forming a group
with some classmates after just 2 years of formal piano lessons.
John was educated at the Berklee School of Music in Boston where
he majored in Professional music and played with some of today's
brightest stars in Jazz and Pop music.

John now resides in the San Francisco Bay Area where he has long
associations with legendary R&B singer Lenny Williams and guitarist
Stef Burns whos credits range from Alice Cooper to Sheila E. and
is currently with "Huey Lewis and the News".

John has recorded and performed with many diverse acts.
Chaka Khan, Foghat, Y&T, Snoop Dogg, the Delphonics, theTemprees,
Nakitta and Narada Michael Walden to name a few.
He has also worked with legendary producer Arif Mardin for Atlantic
Records and recorded for Modern Records and Fantasy Records.
John has received many awards including the "Bill Evans Jazz Piano
Scholorship" (a nationwide talent search) ,"Berklee Faculty Award" ,
Billboard Songwriter's Award and numerous CMEA awards including
the All-State Honor Jazz Ensemble (pianist).

John has toured with and opened shows for ; Areatha Franklin, Al Green,
Cameo, The Whispers, Boney James, Kirk Whalum and many others.
He is a prolific composer and has completed three CDs of all original
material in many styles of music . He is a piano and music teacher,
a copyist, an arranger, programmer, vocalist , agent and consultant
for local clubs. He is a gifted and skilled musician.
